Graduate Writing Program Spring ’23 Registration; Symposium deadline extension

Hello, friends of the GWP!

We’re thrilled to announce that registration is now open for our Spring ’23 classes. Any graduate student can register themselves for one of our free support courses here.

In addition, we have extended the submission deadline for abstracts for this semester’s Graduate Research Symposium, “Boundaries, Borders, Bridges: Research at the Margins” to Monday, Nov. 14th. 200-word abstracts can be uploaded to tinyurl.com/GRSf22. Please see the attached flier for further details.

Registration for Spring 23 Graduate Writing Program courses is now open! The GWP offers classes on writing skills to support Master’s and PhD students from all Rutgers graduate programs. Our classes meet eight times a semester plus two one-on-one meetings. Classes begin during the second week of the semester.

Our courses cover all areas of writing from argument and structure to sentence style. We support students in developing professional writing habits and meeting regular goals. We work with students on the papers, articles, or dissertations that they are writing for their programs—we do not assign additional work. Students receive extensive, individualized, and discipline-specific feedback throughout the semester.

Students may register themselves for free here.
