Event synopsis: Under the leadership of Carlos Mark Vera, Pay Our Interns (POI) successfully influenced Congress to pass more than $150 million in funding for interns and has helped agencies create internship programs.
Among numerous honors and article features, he has been named a Forbes 30 Under 30 Honoree and a Top 20 Changemaker by NBC Latino.
