You may register for the free event at www.CampusClimateCorps.org.
The event begins with a four-hour virtual conference at noon Eastern Time on Friday, November 4, 2022. It continues Nov 5-18 with daily, live briefings at noon Eastern Time from the UN climate conference (COP27) in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.
All the meetings and briefings can be viewed live via Zoom, YouTube, Facebook and Twitch with opportunities for Q&A from viewers. Recordings can also be viewed at any time on YouTube and Facebook.
The UN climate conference is an event of critical importance to people everywhere, particularly university students whose skills and leadership will be essential in confronting the challenges posed by climate change. Campus Climate Corps will provide coverage of the UN conference from the university student perspective, focusing on the scientific, technological, and social responses to the climate crisis.
Campus Climate Corps is a service project of AEL. If you are interested in learning more about AEL please visit our web page (http://ael.gradschools.org/).
You may send your questions to Contact@CampusClimateCorps.org.
If your university is interested in presenting information about its climate and sustainability programs, feel free to ask and we will do our best to fit you in. We look forward to participation from a broad range of campuses and disciplines.
Sincerely,
John C. Capece, PhD, Executive Director
