From Doctoral Candidate to Job Candidate: Doctoral Student Virtual Networking & Recruiting Event

Staff at Career Exploration and Success (CES) have been working hard behind the scenes to arrange a virtual networking and recruiting event just for doctoral students. We hope you’ll join us on September 14^th from 3:00-5:00 to learn about possible career opportunities and network with employers looking to hire YOU, future PhDs!

This interactive session will allow employers to provide a brief 3-minute overview of their organization to the entire group so you can learn about their mission, goals, and hiring processes. Then, in breakout rooms, you will have the opportunity to meet with employers in smaller groups with other student attendees to share your research, skills, interest in the industry, and how you plan on applying your knowledge and experiences to the world of work. Think of these break-out group meetings as a way for you to practice interviewing while networking in a supportive environment! Get your resume ready- we will be collecting them to share with the employers in attendance after the event!
