First thing’s first. You just got accepted into a graduate program at Rutgers University. Where can you stay? and how will you get around? You can contact Rutgers for help.
Alternatively, you can check off-campus housing for help connecting with other students for shared or single room housing. For more options outside of student focused housing, you can check apartments.com or zillow.com for housing around the area. Keep in mind the bus routes because housing away from campus means you need a bicycle or car to arrive at campus.

Rutgers is officially committing to making their campus and inclusive and supportive environment. There goals and guidelines are explained on their website.
There are diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) events to attend virtually and in-person. Keep a look out as more events are planned from various departments!

If you’re wondering what to do with your degree in the future, Rutgers has a lot to offer to guide you through the process. Their career services site has everything for every student.
Rutgers even has a platform called Handshake where you can easily search through and compare different job positions and career paths while learning about different employers. The website is also used for finding and attending career building events!
Rutgers students also now have access to the career skill building platform Aurora, that Rutgers New Brunswick students should also have access to.

If you would like to explore on-campus living opportunities, the Rutgers Graduate Student Housing could be an excellent option for you. There are graduate housing communities located on both the Busch and Livingston campuses that offer options for single residents and families.

Rutgers is home to five recreation centers, and each location has a combination of aquatic, outdoor, and/or fitness amenities.
There are also numerous events to attend all year round, from sports games to trivia night.
