The GSA is asking all GSOs to self-report their funding/allocation used for the 2021-2022 AY. This will be cross-referenced with GSA records in determining maximum funding requests for the coming 2022-2023 AY. Reporting is required and due by August 12th at 11:59 PM.

2. Join Us! 2022 Graduate Student Resource Fair 9/9/22 3-6 PM
Dear GSO Leadership Team,
The Office of Student Affairs and the Graduate Students Association cordially invite you to the 2022 Graduate Student Resource fair! The event will take place in the President’s Tent (across from Hurtado Health Center) on 9/9/22 from 3-6 PM. This event will feature representatives from many offices and organizations important to graduate student life across Rutgers. We will also have food, a DJ, and lots of opportunities to connect with peers! Stay tuned for more information.
Meanwhile, we are asking GSOs to come share their resources and welcome grads both new and old to campus. If you would like to host a table at this event, please email Shawn Rumrill (president@gsa.rutgers.edu) and Nusrath Yusuf (evp@gsa.rutgers.edu) before 8/12/22. Space is limited so RSVP ASAP! Meanwhile, please share these details with your departments and peers. We hope to have an RSVP and flyer out in time for orientation.

3. Reminder: GSO Advanced Status Form now available!
Each year, the GSA provides an opportunity to qualify for a bit of extra funding for your GSO! If you believe you qualify for this additional funding based on your activities from the previous year, please fill out this form by August 12th at 12 AM here: https://rutgers.campuslabs.com/engage/submitter/form/start/548750

4. Reminder: Important Information for Recognition and Funding
Dear GSO Leadership,
Each year, it is required that GSOs seeking funding and recognition by the GSA fill out the required forms. The Funding and Recognition form will open on September 6th and close September 20th (you’ll receive an email). Late applications will not receive full funding and only be considered for partial funding on a rolling basis. GSA will determine final allocations on or around Oct 1st. GSO leaders will be required to attend at least 1 funding and reimbursement workshop with the GSA and sign the allocation contract prior to receipt of AY funding. Funding requests for orientation or other events prior to finalization of allocations may be considered with limitations.
