Art Together: October

Sunday, October 10 | 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. EST | In-person Event

Sponsored by Zimmerli Art Museums

“Street Art Together” is Zimmerli’s FREE drop-in family art workshop series. Join us each month for a new project inspired by work on view in the museum and spend some quality creative time together. Celebrate the season of Halloween and Día de los Muertos by making your own Q-tip skeleton inspired by our exhibition Microcosm of Mexico: 100 Original Woodcuts by José Guadalupe Posada. Posada’s calaveras, or images of skeletons, were often filled with humor or commentary about everyday life and remain popular around the world. This session of “Street Art Together” will meet outside of Voorhees Mall! Masks are still encouraged and groups will be socially distanced. Families are invited to visit the museum to see the Posada exhibition before or after participating in the art activity (masks required inside the museum).

Location: Events outside on Voorhees Mall.

Zimmerli Art Museum: 71 Hamilton Street, New Brunswick, New Jersey 08901
