Important Information

Attention All GSOs–Please read the following message closely for information on funding for Fall 2014

Important Dates and Deadlines

Recognition Application Submission: Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 9am through Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 11:59pm
Mandatory Funding Instructional Meeting: Thursday, September 4, 2014, 6-9pm, GSL *Food will be provided*
Funding Application Submission: Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 10pm through Friday, September 12, 2014 at 11:59pm
Fall EAC Meeting: Saturday, September 13, 2014,11am – 3pm, GSL *Volunteers Needed**Food will be provided*

First Council Meeting: Date, Time, and Location TBA *Food will be provided*

All new and existing GSOs can apply/reapply for recognition from 8/28/14 until the deadline of 9/3/14 at 11:59pm. All groups must submit a recognition application, even if your group has been recognized in previous years.
The site will be accessible via http://gso.rutgers.edu on the 28th.
Please contact the secretary (secretary@gsa.rutgers.edu) with any questions about the recognition process.
Do not submit any applications for funding at this time. The GSA will be holding a mandatory funding instructional meeting on 9/4/14 from 6-9pm.Attendance at this meeting is required for any GSO that has submitted an application for recognition and will be submitting applications for funding. At least one representative from each GSO, preferably the treasurer or whoever will be handling funding applications and paperwork, must be present for the duration of this meeting. Sign-ins and sign-outs will be required. We will cover funding rules, the process for correctly submitting applications for various types of events, proper paperwork management and submission, etc.Your GSO will not receive funding if someone is not present for the duration of this meeting. Please contact the business manager (help@gsa.rutgers.edu), in advance, if you anticipate an issue.
Following the instructional meeting, GSOs can begin submitting funding applications until the deadline on 9/12/14 at 11:59pmFunding applications submitted before the instructional meeting or after the deadline will not be considered.

The EAC meeting will be held on 9/13/14 and the GSA is asking for 6 – 10 volunteers to help review funding applications. More details will be provided at a later date.

The first Council meeting date is TBA and all GSOs are expected to send representatives and be present to sign funding contracts for the semester. More details will be provided at a later date.
