DESCRIPTION:Imposter Syndrome: Myth\, Fact\, and What to do About it\nFriday\, October 15 | 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. EST. | In-Person Event\nSponsored by Graduate Student Life and CAPS (Counseling\, ADAP\, and Psychiatric Services)\, and Rutgers Global Student Services and Programs. \nFacilitators: Dean Mark Schuster\, Dean for Graduate Student Life\, Dr. Nicky Issacson\, CAPS Counselor\, MSW\, and Ph.D. \nGraduate students often feel they are “imposters” (The “Imposter Syndrome”). They might doubt their skill level academically and even their self-worth. Facilitators will present an overview of the myths\, facts\, and stigma associated with the syndrome. This workshop encourages participants to share their lived experiences. The pressure exists for everyone —at the masters and doctoral levels.
