DESCRIPTION:I-Corps@Rutgers Information Session: Fall 2021:  \nSeptember 14\, 2021 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm \nJoin a Virtual Info Session from the Rutgers I-Corps Site Leadership Team to learn more about the I-Corps Experiential Learning Opportunity.  We’ll discuss the I-Corps Team Roles (including Fellows)\, program expectations and deliverables\, and you’ll hear from past participants to get their feedback on the program.  Finally\, we’ll share what’s required to apply\, followed by a Q&A. \nNOTE: Accepted teams receive a National Science Foundation (NSF) Grant of up to $2500 (reimbursement for approved expenditures) and NSF lineage for follow-on funding/opportunities. \nThis Info-session is for: \n\nStudents curious about Innovation & Entrepreneurship (I&E) at Rutgers\, working on their own innovative idea\, or just wanting to learn about innovation.\nRecent graduates and Alumni are eligible and welcomed!\nFaculty/staff/student teams working on a unique technology hoping to get your innovation into the hands of customers/users. NOTE: Faculty\, staff\, and students from\nALL Disciplines and ALL campuses are welcome!  I-Corps often leads to additional funding opportunities!\nProgram Directors/Managers interested in collaborating with I-Corps@Rutgers to enhance the experience of their program participants.\n  Students from underrepresented communities passionate about innovation. DESCRIPTION:Staff at Career Exploration and Success (CES) have been working hard behind the scenes to arrange a virtual networking and recruiting event just for doctoral students. We hope you’ll join us on September 14th from 3:00-5:00 to learn about possible career opportunities and network with employers looking to hire YOU\, future PhDs! \nThis interactive session will allow employers to provide a brief 3-minute overview of their organization to the entire group so you can learn about their mission\, goals\, and hiring processes. Then\, in breakout rooms\, you will have the opportunity to meet with employers in smaller groups with other student attendees to share your research\, skills\, interest in the industry\, and how you plan on applying your knowledge and experiences to the world of work. Think of these break-out group meetings as a way for you to practice interviewing while networking in a supportive environment!
