It has been an enormously challenging time for all of us. The viral pandemic has highlighted the disproportionate impact on the health and wellbeing of Rutgers and surrounding communities. Now more than ever we need to rethink and plan our future at Rutgers carefully, thoughtfully, and compassionately.
Last year the Rutgers Graduate Student Association (GSA) created a Mental Health Committee dedicated solely to addressing the mental health needs of our graduate students. To ensure that our work going forward is applicable and relevant to your experiences, we would like to hear from you directly.
To this end, we invite you to share your experiences via our graduate student mental health survey. The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Your participation will be confidential, as no personal identifying information will be collected. We will only share data summaries of analyzed results with the University president and administration.
By taking part in the survey, you will be helping the GSA Mental Health Committee to assess the general wellbeing of our graduate student body; with this data, we hope to increase mental health resources to improve the quality of life of Rutgers graduate students. We very much welcome your participation in this important endeavor and hope to hear from you!
