Moving Beyond Legal Compliance: Sexual Harassment Prevention and Culture Change

Welcome to Rutgers’ annual academic research symposium, Moving Beyond Legal Compliance: Sexual Harassment Prevention and Culture Change.  The symposium will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2020, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm at the New Brunswick Theological Seminary, 35 Seminary Place, New Brunswick, New Jersey.

The aim of the symposium is to raise awareness of the impact of sexual harassment on individuals’ careers in academia and explore ways to reduce sexual misconduct by making systemic cultural and climate changes on our campuses. The symposium is co-sponsored by the University Committee on Diversity, Race, and Gender and by the Committee to Advance Our Common Purposes. The program is open to all Rutgers faculty and advanced graduate students.  Seating is limited, so please register early.  This event will be available via Livestream.  A direct link will be made available on the symposium webpage.
