International Student Affairs Committee
ISAC is an organization under the umbrella of the Rutgers Graduate
Student Association (GSA). ISAC aims to provide support to the Rutgers
international graduate student community and with other Rutgers groups
to achieve this goal. These include the Center of International
Faculty and Student Services (CIFSS), Rutgers Counseling, and the
undergraduate International Student Association (ISA).
Social activities are arranged regularly at the New Brunswick
campuses. ISAC is well known for its "Pizza Hours" (Social Hours),
held bi-weekly on Friday evenings during the semester. Typically
30-100grad students, post-docs, visiting scholars and spouses attend
these multicultural social gatherings. These mixers are open to all
graduate students and provide an informal environment to catch up with
old friends and make new ones. We serve food and beverages at every
event and have games, movies, quizzes, treasure hunts and more.
This website contains information regarding the ISAC committee and
it's purpose, events organized by ISAC, and other activities that may
be of interest to the international community at Rutgers.
