Rutgers offers a charge-free bus service. Bus schedules vary according to the day of the week and time of the day, and are also subject to change based on holidays and school vacation. For official information, check out the current bus schedule here (from the Department of Transportation Services). The following list names the different bus routes during the academic year.
Route A: College Avenue - Busch, via ARC (Allison Road Classrooms) building Route B: Livingston - Busch Route C: Busch Commuter Shuttle (Stadium West Lot - ARC building) Route EE: College Avenue - Cook/Douglas Route F: College Avenue - Douglas (via George Street) Route H: College Avenue - Busch (via Bartholomew Road) Route L: College Avenue - Livingston (via Cedar Lane) Route LX: College Avenue - Livingston (by Lot 100) Route REXL: Cook/Douglas - Livingston Route REXB: Cook/Douglas - Busch Route A Weekend: College Avenue - Busch - Livingston - Highland Park Route EE Weekend: College Avenue - Cook/Douglas Route L Weekend: College Avenue - Highland Park - Livingston - Busch
New Brunswick Quick Shuttle is operated by Rutgers and runs on a fixed route, serving the College Avenue Campus and some areas of New Brunswick (from 6am to 2am on weekdays). You can stop the shuttle by waving to the driver and if you want to get off besides the assigned stops, just tell the driver.
Library Shuttle is an intercampus service for the Douglas/Cook campus. It runs every half an hour, seven days a week, from 7:30pm to 2am (during the academic year). The shuttle runs to and from the Cook Campus Center and the Mabel Smith Douglas Library.
Knight Mover is a Rutgers service that operates when all other transportation options have stopped running. It runs on Sunday-Wednesday (2:00am-6:45am), Thursday (3:00am-6:45am), and Friday and Saturday (3:00am-7:45am). You can request a pick up by calling (732) 932 RIDE (7433).
