How to Travel to Princeton

Travel to Princeton
- A guide to the city is available at Princeton Online (609-258-5707).
- Train: NJ Transit towards Trenton. At the Princeton Junction, make a connection to Princeton University.
- A shuttle train for Princeton Junction arrives at the Alexander Rd Station, located on the edge of the university campus.
- Note that the shuttle does not run as frequently as on weekends.
- Taxis meet most rush hour trains but cannot be depended upon to meet off-peak hours and weekend trains.
- Bus: Tickets are available at the Suburban Transit ticket office (1 Penn Plaza, in front of the New Brunswick train station).
- The bus arrives in Princeton at Palmer Square and the Princeton campus is directly across the street. Check out Suburban's routes to Princeton.
- Taxi: The approximate fare from New Brunswick Train station to Princeton University is $30.
Travel within Princeton
- The Tiger Tram operates from 5:30 am until 6:45 pm on every regular workday.
- It travels Elm Drive between Lot #7 and Firestone Library with intermediate stops at Wilcox Walk, Dod Hall, and Clio Hall.
