Here are some car-rental companies with branches in the area. Rented cars are often used to travel and help on moving out.

• Zipcars. Rutgers has two zipcars that can be rented for hourly or daily rates.
  • An annual membership is currently $25, then you pay $8 an hour or $60 a day, gas and insurance included.
  • Taxes and fees extra. The cars are kept in the parking lot near the Grease Trucks on College Ave.
