THE COMMITTEE

OVERVIEW

Current GSA sustainability projects include:

  • Green purchasing by GSA & the GSO's.
  • Recycling in the GSL
  • Using reusable catering goods at the GSL, and lending catering kits to GSO's
  • Battery and computer waste recycling bins at the GSA office, for all to use
  • Lightbulb swap & other enery conservation programs
  • Orgnaic Gardening workshops
  • Education & Field Trips (e.g. upcoming trip to NY Sun Works Science Barge on 2 June, 2007)
  • Supporting other Rutgers projects on sustainability issues

  • One Billion Bulbs Join the RUGSA group and record how many standard lightbulbs you replace with compact fluorescent. See how many tons of CO2 we've saved so far!
