Deadline to Apply for Recognition: Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 11:59 PM
Mandatory Funding Instructional Meeting: Wednesday, September 4, 2013, 6-9pm, Location TBD *Food will be provided*
Funding Application Submission: Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at 10pm until Friday, September 13, 2013 at 11:59pm
Fall EAC Meeting: Saturday, September 14, 2013,11am – 3pm, Graduate Student Lounge (RSC) *Food will be provided*
First Council Meeting: Sunday, September 22, 2013, Time and Location TBA *Food will be provided*
Do Not submit any applications for funding at this time.
The GSA will be holding a mandatory funding instructional meeting on 9/4/13 from 6-9pm. Attendance at this meeting is required for any GSO that has submitted an application for recognition and will be submitting applications for funding.
At least one representative from each GSO, preferably the treasurer or whoever will be handling funding applications and paperwork, must be present and sign-in for the duration of this meeting. We will cover funding rules, the process for correctly submitting applications for various types of events, proper paperwork management and submission, etc.
Your GSO will not receive funding if someone is not present at this meeting. Please contact the business manager (firstname.lastname@example.org), in advance, if you anticipate an issue.
Following the instructional meeting, GSOs can begin submitting funding applications until the deadline on 9/13/13 at 11:59pm. Funding applications submitted before the instructional meeting or after the deadline will not be considered.
The EAC meeting
will be held on 9/14/13 and all GSOs are expected to send representatives
to help review funding applications. More details will be provided at a later date.
The first Council meeting will be held on 9/22/13 and all GSOs are expected to send representatives and be present to sign funding contacts for the semester. More details will be provided at a later date.
